We have had enquiries about the format of the day, the timings and expectations. So, I hope you will find everything you need here. If you need to know more, use the contact form on our Home Page.
What will we be singing?
We have yet to finalise the list, but we have tried to choose a balance of songs from across the Beatles era. Another consideration is that some songs work better with massed choruses than others. All the songs have been specially arranged by Marius Frank, with keys and harmonies adjusted to get maximum pleasure with minimal pressure!
Workshop songs (we will be learning some fabulous harmonies for male and female voices):
- Let it Be
- Here Comes the Sun
- Paperback Writer
- Hey Jude
Sing-along Songs (words will be available, with some harmonies too- Sassparella members will help!):
- I Wanna Hold Your Hand
- All You Need is Love
- When I’m 64
- Twist and Shout
Songs led by Sassparella (welcome to join in with the melodies!)
- Back in the USSR
- Lady Madonna
- Penny Lane
- With a Little Help from my Friends
There will also be contributions from soloists featuring some of the other magnificent hits from the Fab Four.
What if I struggle to sing in harmony?
Please please do not worry. We want everyone to have a good time and participate fully. You are welcome to simply come along and sing and enjoy those unforgettable melodies.
